Stephen, The Guru of Green

If you like to eat fresh and inexpensive organically-grown vegetables, if you have only a small deck with little room for planter boxes, or if redwood trees shade your yard leaving no sun to plant homegrown tomatoes, peppers, string beans, broccoli, or flowers; and you live in Larkspur, Calif., the community garden may be your solution.
The Larkspur Community Garden is continuing its 25th year at Piper Park.
We "grow" in learning about mulching and watering, other gardeners' techniques, sharing harvests, and building community in an ongoing year-round opportunity. We participate in community garden projects, which keeps our garden looking nice. We share good old garden know-how and receive recreation and therapeutic hands-in-the-soil benefits. Sign up today - the wait is worth it.

We give some of our abandance to the Marin Community Food Bank every week. Feel free to donate your zucchinis, tomatoes and crookneck squash. Place them in the red bin inside the tool shed.
Allan carries the vegetables up to Novato on Saturdays and Tuesdays, so time your donation to keep it as fresh as possible for his pick-up.
